Hello my name is Jo and welcome to Down Brushwood Road photography, my family and I live along the Brushwood road in the Riverina on a farm that my husband is 4th generation farming, the name choice is proud and nostalgic.

I am originally from the Gold Coast and fondly call both places home. My husband and I have 5 young children who we completely adore and who pop up from time to time on the social media feeds. Our children have an over abundance of photos of them and I relish in being able to record so much of their lives, the story of them for them as they get older and for me to get sentimental over.

I find the continual creative exploration of photography addictive and motivating and it has been my career since leaving school, it is also my hobby and it is just part of my life I find so much enjoyment with it. Each time I pick up my camera I am still intrigued and excited, the ever changing scenery and experiences, stories of lives, connection, relationships, keeping emotions, moments & personalities a forever memory visually.

Normally with a camera not far away enjoying adventuring, road-trips, travel, hiking, reading, farm-life, running, listening to podcasts, enjoying time with my precious family and friends is my other happy.
