Our Max turns 8 today so last night we headed out with the dark stormy sky and got the last of the days light for our family tradition of a pre birthday photo session. Our kids love it and it has come to add to the birthday celebration for each of them.

Earlier this year he started learning the guitar and is enjoying it so much so I am glad he wanted to bring along his guitar as it really resonates with him at this point in time.

I hope he continues to enjoy it and play more and more as I love listening to him practice, he is kind, thoughtful and affectionate you can hear it expressed when he settles in to practice. He brings us so much joy and has a quirky sense of humour and we adore him so.
